Who I am
It doesn’t matter much what you call me: coach, advocate, or consultant, the end results are the same. I am a person who can help you think differently, take a new path, find a better way. And I can help you remove the roadblocks that stand in the way of getting where you want to go. No, I am not a therapist, but I can work alongside of one if that’s what you need, part of a team that will help you achieve the life you’re striving to live.Whether it be healthy aging, a difficult health condition, weight management or the many other challenges that keep us from living the way we want to, I’m here to help to find your way when you feel stuck and frustrated, when you’ve tried everything else, and when you need to do something different.

How I work
My services are a little different from many out there. First and foremost, I don’t subscribe much to the notion of setting goals. It’s just too heartbreaking when we try our best and then don’t achieve the promised results. And I don’t believe there is one way to live that works best for everyone. Last, I have little faith in willpower. Bottom line, I’m all about saying yes rather than no. If you look at the research, people who are living their best lives are doing so not by following the rules or by beating themselves up for failing. Instead, they are focused on nourishing themselves, they trust their instincts, and they choose a discipline, or make a choice, that feels realistic and that fits into their own personal lifestyle and philosophy. So that’s what I’m here for: to help you identify your options, choose the ones that feel right for you, and then to successfully put them into practice.
With my many years of experience helping patients make and then implement difficult medical decisions, supporting people who want to make lifestyle changes, and putting research into practice, I come to this work with deep passion and the capability to implement the knowledge I’ve accrued.
